Fine Art School Portraits

FINE ART SCHOOL PORTRAITS | CHESTER, VERMONT

My goal is to offer a boutique, personalized experience for the schools and families who choose Tegan Coley Photography.

Unlike large corporate school photography companies, I intentionally work with a limited number of Vermont and New Hampshire schools each year. This allows me to provide a thoughtful, organized experience and responsive support for both administrators and families — without sacrificing professionalism, efficiency, or quality.

My goal is simple: to photograph children as they truly are.

You won’t find forced smiles, stiff poses, or harsh lighting. Instead, I create a calm, lighthearted environment where kids feel comfortable enough to be themselves. I never rush expressions or ask for something unnatural. The result is genuine, timeless portraits that feel like your child.

This is school photography designed to feel more personal, more relaxed, and more meaningful for everyone involved.

Photographer, Tegan Coley, posing for fine art photograph for school

Hey, I’m Tegan!

I believe school photos should capture children as they truly are.

Fine art school photography offers a more thoughtful, authentic way to capture children. It’s simple, natural, and focused on expression and personality rather than perfection.

As a mother, a school community volunteer, and photographer, I understand how important it is to create an experience that’s calm, organized, and thoughtful — for both students and staff. I work closely with each school to make picture day seamless, professional, and enjoyable, while providing portraits that stand out from traditional school photos.

By partnering with schools across Vermont and New Hampshire, I’m proud to offer a personal, boutique approach that highlights each child’s individuality, supports your staff, and leaves families with portraits that truly matter.

I can’t wait to work with you!

Each child receives 2–5 thoughtfully edited images, presented in both color and black and white. Families choose their favorite images — rather than being assigned a single pose — and order only what they love.

  • Fine art prints

  • Canvas gallery wraps

  • Digital images for archiving and future printing

Before photo day, your school will receive a detailed preparation guide and ordering information to share with families so everyone knows what to expect.

Print orders are placed online and delivered directly to the school within approximately four weeks of photo day.
