Hello HES Families,
Photo day is just around the corner! My name is Tegan, and I am a family and school portrait photographer. I’m so excited to provide your school with portraits that capture the authentic personality of each child. What’s even more special is that I grew up in Hartland and attended HES K-8. My goal is to create a more personal and thoughtful experience for both schools and families, ensuring that photo day feels seamless, enjoyable, and memorable!

What is a fine art school portrait?
Fine Art School Portraits are a modern, timeless approach to school photography.
Gone are the awkward poses and busy, artificial backdrops. Instead, children will be photographed against a simple solid beige background, allowing their true personality to shine. Rather than forcing smiles, we encourage natural expressions. Children are encouraged to be themselves and will never be forced to smile. The result is classic, authentic portraits that families will treasure for years to come!
What should my child wear?
Because portraits are photographed from the shoulders up, the top is the most important part of the outfit.

Most importantly, don't overthink it! These portraits are about your child's personality—not their outfit. Choose something they feel good in, and I’ll take care of the rest.
How can I view my child’s images?
Photos will be available to view and order online through GotPhoto following picture day. Families will receive instructions for accessing their child's private gallery once images are ready. I’ll also post the link on this page! Each child will have a unique code.

Your gallery will include multiple portraits of your child, giving you the freedom to choose the images you love.
How will I order?
Once your child's gallery is ready, you'll be able to choose your favorite images and order directly through the online gallery. Packages are available for families who want a simple, bundled option, or you can choose individual prints and digital images à la carte.
Our Classic, Keepsake, and Premium packages offer increasing combinations of prints and digital images.
Families with multiple children can use the Keepsake Package to choose images from more than one child's gallery. Additional prints can be added à la carte.
All packages and individual products are clearly displayed in the online shop, so you can choose what works best for your family.
Please note: the gallery will remain open for fourteen (14) days only, and all orders must be placed within that time frame.
What if I have more than one child?
You can enter each child's access code to view all of your children's photos.
Our Classic Package is sibling-friendly! You can use one Classic Package to select photos from multiple children. Simply enter each child's access code when accessing your gallery, then choose your favorite images for your package.
Prefer separate packages for each child? You can do that too!
Need additional prints or products? Additional items are available for purchase à la carte.
How Will I Receive my purchased images?
Digital file orders are delivered instantly. As soon as your purchase is complete, download instructions will be sent directly to your email. This allows you to enjoy and share your child’s portraits right away.
All print and tangible product orders will be delivered directly to your school within three weeks of the gallery closing. The school will then send orders home with students. This ensures that families receive their portraits quickly and conveniently.

All tangible products are produced by a high-quality professional print lab, ensuring your portraits are beautifully printed and made to last. Please note: professional prints may look different than those produced by consumer labs. Our lab delivers true-to-life colors, accurate tones, and archival quality.
